Football: Ramos’ trio of touchdowns lead Dumont past Tenafly in annual Thanksgiving game

As the years have gone by, the once-widespread tradition of Thanksgiving football in the Garden State has become more scarce. That trend has become pronounced in Bergen County, as turkey day in 2024 only features two games featuring clashes of Bergen teams.
The trend does not apply to the Dumont Huskies and Tenafly Tigers, as this rivalry is still going strong. The two schools meet annually in the “Turkey Bowl”, which stands as New Jersey’s 10th-longest ongoing Thanksgiving series.
